The Darkest Hour Comes Just Before Dawn
Only a mother can truly understand. On the day she gives birth to her child, she endures some of the most intense pain she will ever know. Although drugs are often given to ease the labor, these days, thousands of years passed where birthing pains were greeted with nothing more than a cloth to bite down on in those most intense contractions. Why would any woman subject herself to such misery? Of course, it is because of the gift that follows. When that tiny infant is laid in her arms for the first time, her heart is overcome with a feeling like none she has ever known. Her emotions spill over into tears as she covers the still-wet child with delicate welcome kisses, often asking “Why didn’t anyone tell me I would feel this way?” Just like that…she forgets all the pain that took place only moments before. The father joins in the love fest the instant he holds his son or daughter for the first time. Words don’t come easily, but the love that shines in the eyes of the parents is evidence of an unseen soul connection that must have existed eons ago. In that fleeting moment, the parents caught a glimpse of heaven and recognized the love that the Creator feels for us.
On December 21st–only 3 weeks away–we will be a short 3 years away from the infamous December 21, 2012 date where a new age will be birthed for generations of mankind. What can we expect? Intense labor pains! The real unknown is…how we will deal with it? Will we be willing to endure the contractions long enough to bask in the celebration of a new world or will we murder the mother to avoid experiencing such pain? Our courage, our commitment, our tenacity and our focus will be tested, yes, but will we keep our eyes on the prize and let nothing stand in the way of the destination that awaits? Has humanity matured enough to withstand? Is the body healthy enough to survive? Have we moved past faith and into understanding enough to realize “this, too, shall pass?”
I believe the biggest misunderstanding about this time in human history is that it is not merely a “humanity” issue. It is a human issue. The birthing of this new age is so much more than a collective experience…it is an individual one as well. Each one of us will go through our own cleansing process to move into the new age. One cannot enter into an age of purity without going through purification. Dare I remind you…”Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” As I watch people around me suffering “contraction” pains, I remind them that the gift at the end will be the most beautiful moment of this lifetime. We will see God! Stay with me…stay focused on the destination and do not get distracted by appearances of lack, suffering and fear. This time comes bearing great gifts for us all.
Whatever negative experiences are plaguing you in this moment, I challenge you to endure them with great expectation of good. Everything that is not viable in the new age must fall away now. All unresolved issues of the past must be confronted and transformed. If you are suffering…you are merely moving through the end of one age into another. All of us have to go through this same process of letting go of what no longer serves us. Yes, it is often painful to let go of that comfort zone…even if it has brought us nothing but pain. Let go anyway. You are creating space for a Love so magnificent words don’t do it justice. Once you have released all your stories, your problems, your suffering, you will find yourself alone in a strange and eerie place of no-thing-ness. Rejoice! Your journey has cleansed you so that you can stand as a beacon for others. You will be awash in the glow of purity and will look around and see the kingdom surrounds you. You will feel a feeling so immense and intense, words will fail you. You might know it as Unconditional Love. Some of you call it God. Just before the dawn comes the darkest point of night, but that glorious sunrise emerges as the victory. The Sun will rise up as the great conqueror of the night. A new age begins.
We are in this together. We are also alone. Do not fear. God is in all of it, calling you forth. “Follow me.” My urgent prayer for all mankind is…trust! If only you could see what I see, you would run, not walk, but run towards the darkness that magnifies the brilliant light of Love just on the other side.
God Bless!
I AM…Jodi
